When it comes to the successful delivery of projects of any size or complexity, there’s an important distinction to be made between engineers and consultants. There are many brilliant engineers in our industry; we have the pleasure of working side by side with many of them on our client engagements. However, the vast majority of engineers are NOT true consultants.
At Keyboard Advisors, our Professional Services team is exclusively comprised of consultants. Their technical chops are a given. The secret sauce is their ability to jump out of an airplane, land in a client boardroom, and immediately establish rapport, assess the lay of the land from business drivers to key stake holders, integrate with the heterogeneous mix of internal and external project participants, drive alignment on a path forward, and get to work.
Our consultants are strong communicators, both verbal and written. They are also exceptional listeners. They share regular status updates, understand and leverage escalation protocols when appropriate, and provide comprehensive documentation of project deliverables. They follow proven methodologies and are always evolving to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
We also feel strongly about project governance, and as such include project management and architectural leadership resources in all our projects. Our consultants across the globe collaborate and provide each other with air support when needed. We believe that professional services is a team sport.

Staff Augmentation/Residencies
Similar to our Professional Services approach, we believe that a longer term engagement absent of defined deliverables should not be an excuse for a lesser quality resource. We are not a body shop.
Our Staff Augmentation resources are generally cut from the same cloth as our Professional Services consultants. Often they are in fact the same folks, simply at an earlier or later phase of their consulting career, or in the prime of their career but taking a breather from the stresses of being on tour, so to speak.
We believe that Staff Augmentation engagements need to add significant value and not just fill an empty seat on the bus. We encourage our resources to integrate with your teams and to provide enablement when appropriate.
As with our Professional Services consultants, our Staff Augmentation resources have access to our broader teams and knowledge base. We work with them to ensure success. If there comes the time when they need to be replaced for any reason, we have the roster and leadership infrastructure to make that transition as seamless as possible.

Procurement Services
We understand that selecting the right hardware, software, licensing, and support packages is not a trivial task. Our Systems Engineers work hand in hand with our Relationship Managers and vendor/manufacturer representatives to ensure that you select the best solution to fit your needs, down to the last detail. Also not trivial, we are vendor agnostic.
Our Procurement Services team leverages and integrates with our Professional Services team to architect a holistic and comprehensive approach to the successful execution of your initiatives, and can assist with the implementation and configuration of your new assets.

Managed Services
We believe that a single Managed Services Provider cannot realistically be all things to all people. Every environment has a unique blend of applications, infrastructure, underlying business drivers/priorities, and requirements for what is externally managed and how.
